Best grown in most well drained soil types, prefers sandy or loamy soil.
Best in full sunlight but can tolerate partial shade.
They are drought tolerant plants but benefit from regular water in hot periods.
Ideal for outdoor tortoise enclosures when the frosts have ended.
 Will need protection from frosts.
