This is a natural bedding suitable for snakes as well as many species of tortoises and lizards.Highly absorbent which makes it easy to spot clean, this substrate is biodegradable.Directions for Use: Spread substrate evenly across vivarium base ensuring a depth of 1- 2" (2.5-5cm). Do not overfill if using underfloor heating. Spot clean as required and replace regularly.
 
Please note:
We recommend lining all wooden enclosures with a waterproof liner before placing substrate in to preserve the life of the enclosure.
Although we throughly check all substrates, we do recommend that any substrates that are a natural product should be screened to ensure any unwanted items are removed prior to adding to your tortoise's enclosure.
